Temple Bees - Meet the Bees

Taster sessions are available booked directly with us or through some of our partners. Contact us to book or ask about these sessions.

These taster sessions will last between 1½ and 2 hours. You will be provided with a bee suit and gloves but will have to bring your own stout footwear or wellies.

These sessions will consist of a short safety talk followed by a visit to the beehives to see what goes on in the world of honeybees.

There will be an opportunity to handle bees under supervision to learn about what you’re seeing, and for pictures!

We do our best to make this as safe as possible but there is a small chance you may be stung.

Please don’t attend wearing heavy perfume, aftershave or beard oil as these upset the bees.

NOT AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE THAT ARE ALLERGIC TO BEE STINGS

Stonehurst Farm - Saturday 8th July 2 - 4

A session learning and discovering all about bees. I will be doing the tour, meet in the barn, then take a two hour journey into the fascinating world of bees.

All equipment provided, take apart a hive, and see for yourself just how honey is produced. 

Group size is a maximum of 6.

Sessions are weather dependant and may be rearranged due to inclement weather. 

Not suitable for those with allergies to bee or wasp stings or children under the age of 12.
