Where is your honey from?
Our Summer Runny and Soft Set honeys from from our c200 colonies of honey bees across around 20 sites reaching from Appleby Magna, across to Cadeby and then to Prestwold Hall in Loughborough, with two sites also in South Derbyshire near Calke Abbey. Newtown Linford and Mountsorrel honeys come from a limited number of apiaries in those two areas.
How do you make your candles?
Our candles are made from the beeswax which is a by-product of our honey processing - so that is local too! Apart from our black coloured candles, our candles are the same colours that the bees made the wax so may differ candle by candle. We don't add any scent to our candles.
When will I get my order?
We will work quickly to post your order as soon as possible, we send items out Monday-Friday each week if they are on stock. If we need to jar your honey, or make your candle, it will be a maximum of an additional two working days before we can send your honey or candle out. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your postage selection. If you have selected 'local pickup' we will arrange a suitable collection date and time with you once your items are ready.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on the weight of the items in your order and your chosen shipping type. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
