We produce natural, premium honey using absolute minimal processing. We are ethical in our approach to running the business and wherever possible avoid single-use plastics. Our jars, lids, labels and gift boxes are fully recyclable.

We can attend events with an observation hive between May and September and can also deliver talks on bees and beekeeping – please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Unlike some producers, we can guarantee the honey you buy from us is from Leicestershire or just over the border in South Derbyshire and produced by our own bees.

In 2022 we had about 85 production hives and 30 nucleus colonies, which are a small-sized hives used for raising new bees. In 2023 we are aiming to increase both numbers of hives and nucleus colonies. We also raise about 100 queens per year.

Award Winning Leicestershire Honey from Temple Bees

Temple Bees entered 3 of our local honeys into the prestigious 2023 Great Taste Award - run by The Guild of Fine Food.

We have now had the results for the honey entered and all 3 honeys entered won awards. The Leicestershire Summer Honey was awarded 2 out of 3 stars. All from the bees situated around the area. The Newtown Linford and Mountsorrel honeys were both awarded 1 star
